Recitals
-We offer two recitals a year (Spring and Fall)
-Recitals are relaxed and low pressured
-Students perform two songs each
-Recitals are not mandatory but strongly encouraged
-We have students of all instruments perform
-We only invite between 15 to 20 students to each
recital. This keeps the recitals to about an hour in
length, and also keeps attendance down so
children are not overwhelmed.
Benefits of performing:
-Raise a students confidence
-Give students a sense of accomplishment for their
hard work
-Establishes discipline by extensive preparing
-Increases cognitive skills by means of memorizing
full songs from start to finish
-Allows student to showcase their talents
